| Camp Cherokee is pleased to announce that in
the initial fundraising drive. The Jay Thompson Scholarship
Endowment Fund raised nearly $15,ooo in donations and pledges.
That money will be used annually to provide scholarships to
deserving children so that they may enjoy the wonders of camp,
and become part of the Cherokee Family. To donate to this fund,
make checks payable to the Jay Thompson Scholarship Endowment

60th Reunion
On July 29th, 2006 Camp Cherokee hosted the 60th Anniversary Alumni
Reunion. It was a fantastic day of fun, fellowship, and memories;
capped off with a campout style campfire with songs and stories.
Camp Cherokee would like to thank all those who attended and
made the day such a wonderful event. |

| Maybe you Missed It... |

| Camp Cherokee has constructed 3 new items in
recent years. The Amphitheater, a deck on the Infirmary and
a 35 foot Climbing Tower! The latrines have new tile floors.
The cabins have new roofs. We have a jammin' sound system that
can be heard all over camp. We are continuing to grow and improve
and would love your help. |
